SANCHAR organized a consultation on "perspective building regarding livelihood opportunities in West Bengal with a special focus on persons with disabilities" at Rotary Sadan on 23rd December 2015 in collaboration with Majhihira National Basic Educational Institution (MNBEI), Purulia and with the support of Sightsavers India. There were arrangements for mobile registration of PWDs by Special Employment Exchange and display of handicraft products made by persons with disabilities.
A total of 200 participants have attended this event. The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Ranu Bhattacharya, State Commissioner (Persons with Disabilities), Govt. of West Bengal, Smt. Sibani Bhattacharya, Joint Director of Special Employment Exchange for the Physically Handicapped, and Shri Dilip Banerjee, Borad Member of SANCHAR. We are thankful to them.
