Leena Bhattacharya

Leena is the first registered volunteer of SANCHAR. She is currently pursuing M.Sc. in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai. She helped us by doing a voiceover for our website, which is accessible for persons with disabilities. Right now, she is helping us in content writing. Leena believes that peace of mind lies in helping others. Besides being a member of the theatre group “Kolkata romROMA”, she loves writing poems in the leisure hours. She wants everyone to look beyond themselves, believe in their dreams and make it a better world. Leena wants to stay connected to SANCHAR and wishes to create a better society.

Sounak Mitra

Sounak a student of standard XI in Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Kolkata needs an experience in community service before he applies for his higher studies in abroad. But apart from just having a certificate, he says, ‘…… I want to join SANCHAR and contribute something so as to claim that I have worked for others and not just for me.’ Sounak is passionate about photography, which he has taken as an opportunity to volunteer with SANCHAR. He is taking photographs of various activities of SANCHAR that we need for documentation. Sounak is also helping us in creating a blog for the organisation.
