SANCHAR started working as Training and Facilitation Centre in 1995 with Community Based Organisations in several states of India to develop their human resources and to help in their inclusive development programmes. SANCHAR has already trained around 200 organisations in 17 states in India and in neighbouring countries . Today SANCHAR has built its capacity as a Training Centre at National Level based on its 29 years of experience and has developed a replicable Community Based Rehabilitation model towards a disability inclusive development. SANCHAR is a Training Resource Organisation of CBR Foundation, Bangalore (established by MISEREOR, Germany) and has also provided trainings to the partner organisations of Council for Advancement of People’s Action and Rural Technology (CAPART) under Ministry of Rural Development and Government of India and of Lilliane Fonds, Netherlands. SANCHAR has also trained a range of NGOs and Community Based Organizations and provided them necessary technical support towards a disability inclusive development. SANCHAR provides training on any Disability and Development issues as well as a range of Vocational Trainings throughout the year to the CBOs /NGOs /Govt. Institutions or to any individuals. The organization has a provision of accommodation facilities for 25 participants and conducts residential trainings. SANCHAR also provides space to other organisations for trainings /workshop at a reasonable maintenance cost. The experienced team members of the organisation also work as resource persons in the trainings /workshops, consultants or as evaluators, according to the need of the organisations.
